The CTS knowledge base for these machines spans over the last 45 years, primarily from experience in the engineering and manufacturing side of the production of the machinery. CTS is located in Sinclairville New York, just fifteen miles from the original Borden/Alcoa can tester machinery facility in Randolph, New York. The first Borden three piece can testers were built in the early 1960's, and by the end of 1999, over 1700 can testers for ends, cans, and plastic bottles had been produced at the Randolph NY facility. Most of these testers and many related 3 piece can manufacturing machines are still running today in locations all over the world.
